Prototype of my LARGE motorcycle camping hammock fortress

Below is my design for an XL enclosed tarp fortress that I made for motorcycle camping trips. It’s designed to be big enough to park the motorcycle inside (both for security and weather protection). It’s made from 2.5 12’x10’ tarps sewn together, 1 tarp is a separate section so that it can be removed to use as a separate structure or as a normal hammock tarp.

I’d love any feedback (other than it’s too big, because I made it this big on purpose).

Here is the tarp, hammock and all my straps inside a 28L drybag (with lots of room left) on the back of my motorcycle (seen behind seat strapped down to bike)

Thanks, I measured it to insure it would fit, now I have to add a few more finishing details and then I'll set it up again with the bike.

The tarps are an inexspensicve "Gold Armor" from Amazon. They are really nice (for $30) with tie outs every 2' around all sides and the diagonal.
Plus, at this price I wasn't as afraid to cut them up.

Here is my single tarp set up with the Hennessy on top, and a cheap Amazon tarp underneath to hold my motorcycle suit, boots and helmet to be secure and dry overnight.

Only problem I can see is that you don't have a picture of your bike under the tarp. Too big? No way brother. I love it.

My shameless plug for becoming a donating member: there is a section just for motorcycle stuff.

Interesting! Looks good, I would test in a storm close to home, just to avoid gettinf wet or chasing gear. All that tarp material might do odd things in a big blow.

    Creative and looks good.
