One week from today a bunch of us will be at Glutton base camp. I'll start laying out gear this weekend and prep the hot tent.

Who's bringing the jumbo sized chainsaw to supply logs for Christo's tractor?

    We're professional campers with headlamps!

I'd hate to miss this but don't want to burn vacation. I've been going pretty hard at the trips and should stay home anyway to get some stuff done. Or I'll shoot up after work for a late-friday arrival. "50/50"

Well I updated the sign up sheet quite a while back but never posted here.

I'll be there, looking forward to a weekend+ in the woods.

I've decided to sell a couple of things I have not used in a while.

One of my Speer Snugfit underquilts, 30 degree (very conservative) rated 900 fill, I see they are all going for over $200.00 so that's what I'll take
    https://web.archive.org/web/20100123...ts/SnugFit.htm

Western Mountaineering bag extender summer, unused original price $60.00 on tags, still in place, $30.00 https://www.moosejaw.com/product/wes...ander_10090172

    Z-Packs CF hammock tarp $180.00 https://zpacks.com/products/hammock-tarp-w-doors

Sierra Designs 0 deg synthetic Pod conversion, with large bag expander $50.00

Some other misc items also will show up

See all of you over eaters soon!

Look forward to seeing you TZ. Are you bringing the Escape 21? I would love to take a peek inside one sometime. I am bringing my Trillium 1300 in case the family decides to spend the night.

I've pulled together a few things too (sil poncho, wind shirt, hiking pants, winter camp pot, plus a couple other things). Looks like fall weather is here with great temps for hanging. Can't wait to get some hot tent time in with some upgrades I've made in lighting and stove reflector.

I've got all of my food and gear organized, plus some extra loaner stuff, so now it's just a waiting game until Thursday when I can blast off.

Looking forward to stoking the fire when I wake up and firing up a pot of some of my special coffee! If the lights are on and there's smoke coming out of the chimney, "Dave's Bar & Grill (and java cafe) will be open for those early morning risers. Byo coffee cup!

Ugh, still not time to head for Gluttony!! Only a few more days....

I hope everyone is hungry, cause I've been thinking about this weekend all month. Weather is looking good, just need everyone to come and have some fun and feast on bacon. And other good things to eat.

If anyone is still debating about coming, please come!! Plenty of spots to camp / hang and if you can only make it over for a half day, come on Saturday!!

My food prep starts tonite and runs until I leave. I have my food ready to make, but others still need an accurate count to make sure all the bases are covered. If you are coming, and have NOT signed up on the DOC, please do sign up!!

Update the DOC if coming... >>> GLUTTONY OCT 24-27 2019

I've been eyeing the UGQ 13' Winter Dream /w end pole mods. But going to wait and see if someone is bringing a nice & big winter tarp for sale before I pull the trigger. There is already a faint whiff of campfire smoked bacon lurking somewhere nearby!

I'm so glad it's car camping, because the gear is piling up and I know I have more stuff like the pop-up canopy and table in the garage. Carpooling up with my buddy Gerard whose bringing German beer and more bacon!

I've got an addition to my gear for sale: 2 Lodge cast iron skillets (9") shown below:
