    Okay, time for a bump!!

Have tried two new bacon recipes, both have potential to make the cut for this years Gluttony Hang in October 2019.

The cooler evenings, early mornings are starting to entice me with thoughts of hanging in the outdoors, in comfortable quilts and feeling quite warm even though it might be a bit chilly outside. Might have to have a practice outing sometime in September on a cooler weekend.

Update the DOC if coming... >>> GLUTTONY OCT 24-27 2019

I know people have new gear to show off, plus some good stories to tell. I am anxiously waiting for October to hurry up and arrive!!

I was at a small town market in Sebewaing, Michigan and came across "bacon sausage". Planning on picking up a couple of pounds to make who knows what with, but either way, it's bacon.

Porta Potty's have been reserved from our friends at Spartan Disposal in Gaylord and our host, Ed will be mowing out the areas for our main camp and parking lot across the field. It's a little over two months away and I'm ready to break out the hot tent and fire up for cool weather hanging!

    I like hot tents!!

Picture looks intriguing, have to see it when you have it setup and ready at Gluttony 2019.

Looking forward to seeing you both again this year!!

Already starting to get cool nights, it will be nice to see how many hot tents show up this year.

Okay, 8 weeks and counting down. Starting to think about hammock trips almost daily now with the weather changing and end of summer madness almost over.

Actually played in the gear room for a bit last night and checked on some items that I haven't really looked at in 3-4 months. Quilts look good, cold weather gear looks in good shape. Was rather fun opening bins and getting into the camping gear after a few months break.

My food list is still somewhat variable, as usual, bringing many things including a bacon treat or two. Have to final pick and put on the document soon.

I enjoyed looking again at past Gluttony Report Threads and all the pictures. If you want to know what Gluttony is all about, just browse those threads. Amazing that 5 years have gone by already!

I'm doing a lot of trip thinking as well Gregori! The weather has that feel to it...fall is close. Some colors popping up north (yeah I know almost too early).

I won't have as much time as I want in October, so I may head south the same weekend for the IN hang and hit those peak colors. I've showed no love to the IN hangs for 7 years now...sorry! So I'd say 50/50 at this point.

I’m in hopefully depending on what stage of my bow hunting addiction I’m at. It’s Close enough to a few spots I hunt so may come and stay and hunt during the day and come back in evening.
