Got a few frozen pie crusts and hoping to make some pumpkin pie Thursday evening. Need to get the tamales out of the freezer. Wish I were already out in the woods hanging.

Yep, just finished my final food preps, used 5# of bacon for all my dishes. Truck all packed, just need to load cooler in the morning and go!!

Weather looks perfect, 40's daytime, some sun, low 30's night time. Can't wait to get some great relaxing and fire watching starting tomorrow....

    See you up there everyone!!

Also bringing a 12’ camo cuben tarp with doors, a UGQ hanger 12’ hex tarp, and a brand new, in the plastic from Granite Gear, crown 2 60L UL pack, with the updated pockets. Maybe more, if I can find anything.

All packed up and ready to go. The advance team is up there and enjoying a nice campfire. I'll be on the road by 8! Gonna be tough to sleep tonight as I anticipate the gluttonous feast ahead.

Safe travels to all and see you in camp.

Met a guy at REI the other day, told him about Gluttony and all you lunatics who hang in hammocks in cold weather.... he seemed intrigued and will be showing up Friday.

    Cool

This will be my first time at a group hang.
Wife is with the girls scrapbooking this weekend so I decided to come camp. Honestly, I'm not a fan of cold weather camping, but here I go.
The wife made a carrot cake and cookies. I bought bread, 3Lbs of bacon. Should I bring mayo and some tomatoes? (I assume I'm not the only one looking forward to a BLT)
I'll bring my 10x10 easy-up if needed. I can also bring a cast iron skillet if needed.
Being my first time, I'm not sure what to expect so I'll wing it.
I'll have to Frankenstein the Down comforter I bought to harvest the down for a DIY an UQ.
My friends call me Dokk, but I also answer to "Macgyver"

    See yaz soon.
