    About what angle is right to pitch the poles? Or in other words... how long of a ridgeline are you going for? Trying mine out either way and it seems weird, putting lots of tension on the guylines and leaving slack in both the stand and hammock ridgeline after I get in. Or is that normal?

    Looks like Shug’s is about 45 degrees with some slack in the stand’s ridgeline.

    With my Tensa 4 I use a 69" baseline (side to side) and 138" ridgeline.
    Hope that gives some insight.

    Thanks Shug. Are you pitching it symmetrically and using standard guylines both sides? Or using the stock “foot end” and “head end” with bungee section?
