Hello all, I've never been to the Sipsey hang before but I hope to make it this time. I will be coming with my husband and son. I live next door in Mississippi, and I have probably met some of you from hangs over here. I think I know how to get there and look forward to meeting new friends. And most importantly, we will bring food.
Hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes, but I just signed up to supply Friday night's dinner. I'm going to assuming 2 things, first there is at least a grill available for cooking over charcoal. Second, that everyone will fill in the chart on page 12 so I know approximately how much to bring. Thanks, Looking forward to meeting some new friends!

O-boy- very excited that you’re coming all the way from FL and thank you for offering friday’s Dinner. However, there is no grill. When we say primitive, we mean primitive. No water, no grills, no picnic tables. There are usually a few people who bring tables. There is currently o no burn order in Alabama, so we’ll probably have candles. I can bring a small charcoal grill if that helps.

They seem to be predicting rain, rain and more rain starting the Tuesday before the hang leading up to and through the weekend of the hang. I'm gonna hope the burn ban will be the least of our worries at that point. Gotta get a new Boonie hat. Someone walked off with mine at the ballgame a couple of weeks back while it wasn't on my head.
Y'all hollor out if you still want Hate Beans for dinner (Saturday night I guess?). You're not gonna hurt my feelings if y'all need a break from it.

You need to make your hate beans SuperTroll can bring his one burner for ya if ya need it.......they are amazing!!!!
