Welcome, Jonathan, from across the pond.
Your comfort will be enhanced by having a larger hammock and insulation beneath you. Maybe you can camp with hammockers in your locale to see your gear options—and have a great time

Welcome to HF! I've seen a few outdoorsmen from your neck of the woods (on YouTube) but can't recall if they are hammock types or not. I hope you get it all sorted out so you can hang often and learn the ropes (or straps, of you will).
Oooh, shiney! What does THIS button do?

I have an idea of what I want but my biggest issue is my weight I want to have a hammock I can trust the cheap one I have at the moment is a double and seems to be ok at the moment and I am just using basic tree straps with a daisy chain and the standard continuous loop there is no structural ridge line but I have attempted to add will try it out on my next trip my tarp is a 3x4m hex which I like I have a built in bug net because we have the famous Scottish midge weather can be a bit on the cool side but at the moment its 27.6c which is hot

Contact two or more reputable cottage vendors.
Voice your concerns, they should be able to make what you want
    Possibly double layer
    Very strong fabric
    A good strong suspension
    And your bugnet

I would not recommend any hammock smaller than 11 feet by 5 feet for you
And possibly for optimal comfort 11 feet 6 inches by 5 feet 6 inches

Good vendors will give good advice
