    I use 6x6x14 posts in my case and set them for a diagonal hang across the deck corner with another post in the yard

    Yes, this is really nice set up and similar to what we had in mind for a deck; ground level patio type. I have no roof over-hang so, I'll need to design a pergola type roof over the deck to accomodate the support.

    Unfortunately, I don't have photos, but you would definitely have liked my deck. I built it from decking boards, and it looks really wonderful. In my opinion, such materials are really awesome and helpful in building a beautiful composite multi-level masterpiece.
