Custom Vargo Ti Arc Backpack Frame bag - Hex70 2.2 PU - Fallen Leaves Camo

    Hi everyone!

Up for sale is one of my favorite backpacks I have ever owned, I am only selling it because I replaced with a Dyneema version.

This backpack was designed by Chris Zimmer (zimmerbuilt.com) to fit the Vargo frame (not included) perfectly. It improves greatly upon the pack bag that comes with the frame. This pack will also attach to most any other external frame that you have, using attached velcro, and has some pretty awesome features. These include:

    Spec List

    - Vargo Ti Frame Pack (Similar size to existing vargo ¾ bag, Roll top closure with snaps)

    - Larger Lower Front Mesh Pocket

    - Upper Front Zip Pocket - 4" tall - Pleated - Black Hex70 fabric (this where I store my stakes and suspension)

    - Side Bottle Pockets - Slanted Top - pleated bottom - mesh

    - Right Upper Side Mesh Pocket - Pleated

    - Left Upper Side Zip Pocket - Pleated - Vertical Uretek #3 Zipper (great spot for wallet, electronics etc)

    - Back - Black Hex70 2.2 PU

This bag was around $300 new, it has been used a handful of times and is in fantastic/like new condition. I would like to get $120 SHIPPED.

Let me know what questions you have!!

EDIT: Sorry withdrawn, overlooked that it didn't come with the frame, which was kinda stupid considering the price. Jumped too quick, my apologies.

No worries. I also updated the description for clarity. Thanks,

Great looking pack! Does this come with the hip belt? If so, is it the Vargo hip belt?

Also wanted to mention that Vargo does provide replacement frames, or at least they did when I inquired. I believe the cost was around $175, but that was a couple of years ago.

Hi! This is just the custom bag itself.

I think I was able to get a replacement frame from Vargo for like $100 last time I asked Brian. Also, if you are very interested, send me a pm, I am interested in getting this sold pretty quickly.

Is it well suited for placing a bear can down under the pack?

I’d like to see the hipbelt and straps better. And how the hipbelt mounts to the frame from front and back. Also curious if it’s easy to clip on a shoulder bottle pouch.

Yep! That is the main reason I got this frame to begin with. It's a 3/4 bag so that the canister fits under it . For clarity, you would need to source the frame/straps/belt separately. This is just for the custom frame bag itself.

Okay, I’ll take it. Seems like another rabbit hole I managed to miss until now, lol. Time to start researching this whole external frame side of things.

How much does the pack alone weigh?

How much does just the frame, straps, belt combo you have there weigh?

It's an enjoyable rabbit hole hahaha one I have been down for some time. The pack weighs 10.3 oz and the frame with belt/straps weighs approx. 1.8 lbs or so.. this guy can carry 40 lbs no problem, but ends up weighing less than osprey's lightest options.
