    Struggling with uq

I am trying this 7/8th lenght ugq underquilt with a transparent mesh hammock, and I just don't seem to be able to get rid of the gap under my lower legs (knee, calf, ankle, somewhere there). Since the hammock is mesh, I can see (and feel, cold!) the gap.
The lenght is fine, but how do you use all these gizmos: shoulder hooks, two pairs of triangular tiny rings along the sides, similar to what you could find on a top quilt to attach it to a pad, a transparent plastic tube on the foot end suspension... What's to do with all this?
Sorry, the original instructions never made it to me, since I had the uq shipped through a friend.
    Thanks for your help.

Ah... the joy and anguish of a Monolite hammock!!

I found that when using q 3/4 quilt I can see/feel that same gap.

The solution is to keep the end cinch on the quilt quite loose and redirect the primary suspension up towards the ridge line instead of out towards the end gather.

You can buy a small Tato Ridgeline Quilt Hook from Dutch, but I tried them and they break easily. I tried one of the flexible NiteIze rubber coated wire binders, which worked but wasn't a good permanent solution. My long term solution, now used on all my hammocks and quilt combos is a simple micro mitten hook attached to the ridge line via a prussik. Actually, it is clipped to ridgeline, and the prussik jeeps it in place. This was my first attempt which worked well, but the clip didn't stay in place. It's now inverted and works like a charm.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

+1 MikekiM, I use a small prussik that I attach a cheep carabiner too, then run the UQ suspension up through.
