WB Dynaweave Tree Straps Question

I really love the Dynaweave tree straps. Lightweight and easy to use. However, they sure do bunch up and lack the ability to "bounce" back after disassembly. Is it normal for them to be crinkled up like this? Do I need to flatten them out after use?

Ya, that’s normal. It’s a trade off. It makes them ideal for knots because they roll up into a cord, but you will need to flatten them out where they touch the tree.

Same thing happened to mine ... Gives a sort of perception they are weak / could break. I have them and also the polyester ... I use the polyester, Dutch clips and carabiners ... looks stronger. Am I completely off base?

I don't recall what the published weight limits are but my impression is that they are plenty strong. But these UHMWPE straps all seem to bunch up and behave more like cord in actual use. I used RBTR Venom web a lot with no issues and Myerstech a few times, also with no issues. But they're just not my faves because of this, so I've settled upon Kevlar as 'my final answer'.
