Hello from HOTlanta better known as Atlanta, GA

We are new to hanging but really like it.
We started car camping in a tent in the bed of our truck.
We are now using two Hennessy setups
(side zip hammock, bug net, under quilt and rainfly)
with an Eno spreader bar. We’ve ordered a 13 ft Superfly to cover our heads and feet and Dutch’s tarp poles so we don’t touch the edges.
What kind of cord do y’all use on your side panels and pull outs?
    Do you like reflective cord?
We primarily camp in the North GA mountains and Great Smokie Mountain Nat Park area from Cherokee NC to Gatlinburg TN. We’d like to try Jekyll Island in Feb.
Thanks for welcoming us into the group.
    Regards, Julie

Welcome, Julie. Sounds like y’all have some nice hang spots already. Post trip reports when you go- we all like to see where every body goes. Keep a watch for the group hangs. Those are lots of fun.

Hi Julie, welcome to the forums from South Atlanta!! I also love the N. GA mountains, as well as the GSNP area. I just don't make it up there as often as I'd like.

    Hello from Dawsonville Judy!
I like reflective cordage. I actually put some on all the end points of my tarp about 6 inches. Glows really nice when lights hit it. Very handy for those midnight strolls. Hope that helps.

Welcome from Nashville, Tennessee. Sounds as if we hang in some of the same places!
