DIY advice on large tarp with doors for motorcycle travels

I’m new to hammock camping and seem to be asking for the impossible.

I’ve been trying to find a LARGE tarp with doors That can house my motorcycle and gear while I travel internationally, but I’m rapidly realizing I don’t think one exists that meets my needs. The Cill Gorilla Fortress seems to be the closest thing I’ve found, but would like it a tiny bit bigger.

I’ve bought a Hennessy Deep Jungle XXL zip, and like it, but their tarp is way too small.

I’m a product designer and I’ve got a sewing machine, but I thought I’d ask if anything else is out there? And if not, where can I buy, and what is the right fabric to use?

    Thanks!

What are the dimensions of the Chill Gorilla? Ripstop By The Roll sells winter tarp kits with doors that are 13' long and 5' high at the peak - I would think that is big enough for the bike too but ......

Anyhow put in some dimensions so we can get a better picture of what you are trying to cover.

Talk to Gargole, he has a really unique design you might be able to work with.

Personally, I found the tarps over 11 ft. with doors really a P.I.T.A. to build.

I wonder about the safety of your bike under a very flammable material.

This is what I have been thinking about.
Basically two 10'x 13' tarps sewn together on the ridgeline, with doors.

    "flammable material"? The tarp?

The bike is cool by the time it would be under the shelter, so unless someone sets fire to it, it should be no different than any other gear.

also, I did a member search for "Gargole" and nothing came up.

How about two tarps...one for you and hammock and one for the bike. Might be easier than one HUGE tarp.
Or add an eave to the side of your tarp possibly attached to some side pull-outs. Seen that done before.
    Just my 3¢....

That’s basically what I do now with my tent, but I’ve had a few friends that have had things stolen at night off their bikes, so rather than strip the bike every night and set it up again in the morning, I’d rather deal with a large tarp.

There ya' go. You know what ya' need. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Maybe consider a pole mod to open the tarp up some more.
