Thanks Keeway! I only took a few pics.

This really was a great trip for June. I was worried about the bugs, but the site choice and cooperative breeze really kept them back in the bush.

Such a nice long string of lakes for a paddling trip. I'm definitely visiting Noganosh again... but with a double bladed paddle next time!

This was my first real canoe trip since my first year of university, and it certainly won't be the last! I think I'm a canoe tripper convert. I do love my kayaking, but the ability to portage to more secluded lakes with a ungodly amounts of gear was great fun. It really creates a sense of separation from the modern world that's good for the soul.

    Cheers all!

Just a quick follow-up. We noticed very tiny but clearly living organisms in our clean water gravity filter bags. The filter took care of them no problem, but I've been wondering exactly what they were ... turns out basically freshwater plankton. They are discussed & shown briefly (4:07) in Wintertrekker's latest video.

    Mmm... Tasty!

I remember these from when I used to have aquariums. Daphnia make great fish food for baby fish in an aquarium.

    Thanks for sharing!
