    I'm open to help out, love to do the "point", always a nice walk, and the hammock trees are in abundance there next to the lake. good thing is, if you get to hot, the lake is 20 ft. away...always a good time.

    just an FYI.....My brother-in-law was up there a few weeks back and said the Peninsula Trail is trashed due to the recent storms that knocked down a bunch of trees. He said it's virtually impassable. I haven't been up there to see for myself but it's one of our favorite trails and I trust that he wouldn't exaggerate. It might be worth a call to the ranger station to inquire about the condition of the trail prior to leaving. just my 2 cents.
