patio stand help for a heavyweight

Hey all, I was hoping to poll the experts for a stand idea for my screened in porch. I have a 14'er that I'd like to use, but have been uncertain about the weight ratings on the stands in Amazon. For reference I am a 340lber and as stated have a 14' hammock to hang, that I expect will.stretch some once it has some weight in it... I am not confident in eyebolts in the walls, because I'm not confident of what may have been used for studs.

I do have access to ceiling joists... They are pictures below... These are sandwiched 2x6s (I believe) that are 4 per joist, and spaced about 33inches between them. I considered trying to bore through these and try to hand from an eye bolt... But wasn't sure that the shearing forces on an eye bolt would be too great, and if it was wise to hang like that at all... I didn't want to ruin my roof.

I thought I would post here for suggestions.

When it comes to hardware, don't rely on a guess. The ENO Hammock Indoor Hanging kit has a weight capacity of 400 lbs. and is designed for this very purpose.

I would bore a 1/2" hole through the rafter, then pass a long continuous loop (or a dogbone) through the hole. Clip a carabiner to both ends, and Bob's your uncle.

Btw, all eye bolts are not equal, and their ratings vary greatly with angle of pull. In the case of screws eyes, the quality of the substrate being used is often the limiting factor.

I use my "bipod stand" on my screen porch. When I don't want to use it I can just push the legs together and lean it against the side of the house. The raw galvanized pipe isn't the nicest looking so to make the spouse happy maybe add a few coats of rattle can in their favorite color. Putting the stresses to hang a hammock on roof and wall structure is likely to cause some problems, even on a porch. You may be fine but I think it was less than $100 for the parts to build my stand and goes with me on overlanding trips too (multi-purpose).
