    UHMWPE huggers and Whoopie Slings

I larkshead a whoopie sling around the UHMWPE huggers and it's like it's spotwelded on there after takedown, it's a big ordeal to undo. I would keep them together but I wanted to separate the huggers in case they get sap or something on them. Is there an easier way?

Could join them with a carabiner.

    Or a soft-shackle.

Or an evo-loop (which is really a kind of easy-to-use, but not-quite-so-secure soft-shackle.)

Or instead of using the hugger's loop, tie a marlin-spike hitch in the hugger above the loop.

Or again, instead of using the hugger's loop, tie the strap to the whoopie with a becket hitch. Or a lapp knot.

I do have a couple of soft shackles, I'll give that and the loop to loop thing a try, thanks!
