There'll be rain this weekend, and really, we do need it. However, it looks like it will be mostly Sunday. I'll look at the weather again Saturday and decide if I am staying to Sunday, or headed home late Saturday afternoon.

Temps look good, mid 60s in the day, mid 40s overnight.

Unless something major develops, we are planning to arrive Sat afternoon and stay the night. I'll be bringing free samples of camping snacks!

Looks like rain all day sat and sat night now. We are bringing tarps to set up to have a place out of weather. We have a big one, me and Eric are gonna try and hang over firepit so we can still have a fire. So if anybody has extra tarps bring them

Calling for up to 2 inches of rain over a roughly 30 hour window. Could start around 4am-6am Saturday and end around or before noon Sunday.
Roughly the same forecast for the region of the state along and East of I-65. It supposed to be a large area of rain not a hit or miss type of front.

Everyone bring a snorkel. The good news is that we will have plenty of firewood. I have two 20x20 tarps and a big 30 footer. Someone bring some 550 cord.

May just drive down. That way I dont have to tightly pack soaked equipment. Will still only bring what I would on a bike. Except maybe my water box.

Okay boys and girls. After talking with Eric, we have decided to CANCEL this trip. Cant see spending the money for campsite and firewood. In order to sit in hammock all weeknd. We are going to reschedule so keep looking here for new date. Weather is expected to rain up to 3 inches non-stop early Sat morning, all day and all night.
