    Looking to ditch the bed!

I've found that after a few nights sleeping in my colapsahedron (trying out my setup for field use) that I sleep so good in my SLD TL that I'm wanting to ditch my bed for a more stable platform.

I've been thinking of trying to get some poles/logs to mount to my walls with a standoff, that I can use different suspension and have adjustability to try different setups (as well as tarp setups) for a make shift hammock lab. Does anyone have any ideas/images for mounting this type of setup?

I am in an apartment so HUGE holes in the walls are forbidden, but I am i little bit of a handy guy and can do minor patch work when required. I am also living a bachelor life so a significant smother is not a concern.

That's what I do. I simply cut off 2 pieces of a 4x4 beam and put them under the beam as spacers. I got very long screws that go through the beam as well as the spacer and into the wall. This works perfectly.
