I switched from split ridge lines to a continuous ridge line. I could see the trees move in the wind and pull on my DCF tarp. On a different topic, Harry from Hammock Gear did tell me that "Dyneema can delaminate over time, if you over tighten your guy lines", so I looked into ways to relieve the stress on that seam.

On a recent trip where it was pouring rain, I felt that having a CRL made it faster to setup my tarp in the right place. Also, I've started using the above pole mod as cmoulder showed above. I won't go back to split ridge lines now. The only downside was having a long length of zingit to get tangled, but that was solved once I took a moment to wind up the line properly.
