Hamelin Hammocks!

Greetings!

I have the greatest luck to be able to write this post for all of you.

I have been making hammocks in Sweden for a few years now. I learned everything from this site, and have developed my skills by teaching 10-12 year old students to make hammocks and then go on hiking trips. I have tried to make hammocks professionally here in Sweden but the shipping and taxes on all the Dutchware didn't make it viable.

I now have the opportunity to start a custom hammock business this summer. I will be travelling to CT for six weeks, and I plan on sewing up custom gear. I will also be out hiking the AT in CT and VT to show off my hammocks, handing out trail magic and trying to do both the CT and VT sections. I have a customer base here in Sweden, especially if I can bring the gear home in suitcases.

I am here to offer my services for custom work. I can make my Hamelin Hammock, to size and color, including a bugnet, bishop bag and suspension of choice. I can make Cllmashield UQs, I work with down, and I make Hex Catcut tarps. Everything will be supplied with Dutchware hardware.

So, there's been alot goin on lately.

We found our down supplier who could deliver 1/2 lb bags of 850 treated down - Ceder Ridge Outdoor.

We have compiled an amazingly long list of #Dutchware and have decided all the colors for four hammocks, two climashield quilts, four karo step quilts, and four silpoly tarps.

9 days till take-off to the States and then lookin forward to several days of hard work with the family in front of the thread injector.
