So I have gone through extensive research finding previous posts and the various tests and trials of others and myself of experiments with the length of the suspension triangles on the WBRR in pursuit of being fully enclosed in my 11' stock minifly.
I have done it! I read somewhere from an old Grizz thread on bridge hammocks that as long as the length of the triangles are at least the same length as the spreader bars it "should be ok".
I have made the triangle at least 1.5" longer then their corresponding spreader bar.
(41" head end, 30" foot end)
Though there is certainly a little more tippiness I do not find this to be an issue. I have tested this over 7 nights out and about.
So, beyond the usual "its that length for a reason" which I do understand and appreciate the well thought out design brandon and his crew have put into it. Or "the pressure on the spreader bars will increase" which is true, but it hasnt seemed to be an issue.
Is there possibly anything I may not be considered in doing this at this point?
