    JRB Shenandoah?

I've been searching for an affordable underquilt, and a JRB Shenandoah just popped up on my local CL. I see this is a multi purpose type quilt, and may serve well for different uses. Has anyone used one of these as an underquilt? I understand I'll need to get the suspension for it. Fair weather use only. It's under 100.00... Good idea or no?

ps my hammock is a Warbonnet Traveler, 11'

I have not personally used mine as an underquilt, but a guy I hiked with a bit on the AT was using two of them, one as an UQ and one as a TQ and had no issues with it. It's not my favorite quilt, but it does get used quite a bit.

I don't have the Shenandoah but do have a Nest under quilt and a Sierra Stealth 40 degree OQ. I am a huge fan of JRB. With their stock suspension, their under quilts really work well and are easy to use.

At under $100, I consider that a steal. I think it would be an excellent mid-weight under quilt.

I bought it; the thing is a feather. It's so light it's shocking at first. I think this will suit me well for Southern California summer mountain camping. No 18 degree blowing snow camping for me, lol
