First night in my new Memorial Day sale Eldorado

I got it in on Thursday, on Friday I was chaperoning a scout campout. It slept great and I was able to get very flat. I really like the 70d fabric too. It's a little stretchier than my Hexon Trail Lair. Here's a pic of my setup last night.

I look forward to more nights in this one. $75 was an absolute steal for this hammock!

Great to hear! I received my orders today. My first order was a $75 SL in brown + buckles. Two days later I decided to also get the $105 DL in brown + Becket with FishHooks.

I’ve been testing them out in the basement today by watching a few videos from Shug and Backpacking with a Hammock. I have to say that I like both and cannot say that one is a favorite as of yet. I also lay head right feet left.

Oh, I meant to add...I thought it was interesting that the loops for the tie outs were different on the outside and inside of the bug net. As they come, there are stiff narrow loops on the outside. When you flip it over you have wider softer loops for the reverse lay. I’m guessing the soft loops are because most people will have those on the inside, but it seems like they both could have been the soft style. Someone can let me know if there is a different reason for this.

Also, while both my hammocks were ordered in brown, the stuff sack for the the DL was green. It’s not an issue for me, but I did find it interesting.

Haven’t slept in mine yet but have caught a nap or two in it. Very nice setup, I believe this will become my go too camping hammock. For $75 how could you go wrong. What a surprise when I found it was worth the full asking price especially when do paired to other hammocks of the same retail price point.

I noticed that you also purchased a HG netted hammock. I would be interested in knowing how the HG compares to the WB when you have had time to form an opinion.

I just finished 3 night camping trip on the buffalo river. The HG is what I used for that trip. End of the month I will be camping in Idaho with the El Dorado. That should seal my opinions on the the two. I’m fairly sure the warbonnet will be my go to hammock based on the little bit of time I have spent in it.

Thanks for the update. Where did you end up camping on the Buffalo? A few years ago we camped at Kyles Landing. We had 12 people hanging in hammocks and had people constantly coming up to us to ask about our setups.

Publicalias, I noticed that too about the different tieout loops on the Eldorado when switching the bugnet from one side to the other. I too would be interested in knowing the answer why, although I'm completely happy with the hammock.
