Really diggin the netless

I got this 11’ netless about about a month ago. Knotty mods, and some tie outs exactly where I wanted them(which they never even charged me for),a summer sock which is in its bag hanging at the head of the hammock, and a peak loft. This has become the one for me. Over all the others, including a ridgerunner. Not having a bugnet zipper attached leaves the hammock free feeling inside the sock. I can flip the sock to block out the moon shining or the sun, or wrap the ends of the hammock in heavy fla downpours when the winds get rockin. It’s light, tough, and cooooommmmfffyyyy with zero calf ridge issues. Jam up rig. Thanks Dutch

I'm with ya! (except I DIY'd mine from Hexon) Nice rig you have there.

I prefer the separate net as well for many reasons.

This one is hexon1.6. Awesome fabric. Love it

Looking good!

After many years and many hammocks I came to the conclusion that I used the bug net so infrequently I'd be better off without one, or at least a minimalist configuration. First I DIY'd a Half Wit clone out of Robic 1.2 and then another with the net fully removable.. using 0.67 noseeum and 1.0 Monolite.

I could easily sleep this rig with no ridgeline. I lengthen mine way out. You’ll like it

Yeah, I have one with a ridgeline, but I want something super simple for lake lounging.

I kinda forgot they are thirty bucks if you go bare-bones.

Livin' large in FLO-rida!! NICE! So many homes in Florida have Lanais. I suppose its a must to keep the gators out of your pool.
