Never used RidgeCreek UQ from Arrowhead. Paul at Arrowhead made a couple custom quilts for me. The one for sale has a silver outer shell, and black inner. It is the 3-season model. Here is what is different from the stock RidgeCreek quilt.
The cat cut at the bottom edge was eliminated, and cut straight across. This gives about 1 1/2 inches of additional length. The drawstring at the bottom edge was eliminated. I used one of these quilts on several backpacking trips with my DIY bridge, with temps in the upper 20's, and it worked flawlessly. I loved it so much, that I asked him to make another one identical to it, so I would have a back-up.
My DIY bridge hammock (which I called the SGB) has recessed spreader bars and is nearly identical in size and shape to the Ariel by Grizz. I know lots of people have made their own Ariels, and this offer is especially for you guys. This RidgeCreek should fit the Ariel very well. Someone could always add the drawstring at the bottom edge. But with recessed spreaders, moving the quilt attachment points closer together, I never needed the drawstring at the bottom.
This Kick-*** Quilt has been stored fully lofted. My asking price is $75 including the shipping.
