Hi. I am a sober individual who is looking for folks who want to do some backpacking trips in new england. I'm a hanger but ground folk are more than welcome as well. Just curious if their is any interest in something like this.

I'd be interested! Although I am down in PA, I've gone South a few times but haven't done anything up your way yet. I like to make weekend trips mostly because of work but driving is part of the adventure I like

Cool. I’ve got a friend from Altoona who’s up this way now but, awesome! I like to go up in southern VT for 3 day trips. I do volunteer trail work for the green mountain club up that way. Anyway, look forward to hearing from you.

FWIW Scouts BSA units do a lot of (exclusively) sober camping and trekking.
