Decided to gift a previous generation WBBB XLC to my son and get an SL Eldorado (brown) with a two tone XLC winter top cover (brown/olive). Hopefully, the good deed in providing my son with a wonderful hammock will result in more amicable feelings from my wife when she finds out about the purchase.

Sale is still going on. Just found this. Thank you for the tip-off! The 40% sale is for the 70D it seems. The DreamTex fabric has only a 10% price cut.

I also couldn't resist myself. I ordered 3 of the 70d El Dorados. One for my wife as she doesn't care for her Chameleon and two more for my son and his Scout friend who have been using Travelers with Fronkey bug nets. While nice, I hate to watch them struggle with attaching UQs with the bug net on.
I figured that I'd sell the three used hammocks at a killer price to offset the cost of the new ones.
I got one for the wife, she was in hers last night and had to go in. As she walked back she said, “which I had a bug net”. Which I heard, buy me a new hammock. With the sale price it wasn’t much difference.
I was all set to order an Eldorado to give it a whirl and then I got to paying and shipping. No PayPal option and very high shipping. No thanks.

Just be glad you're not a left-lay. I've always been miffed that it costs us $25 more. We can't even take advantage of the quilt sale, it directs us over to the Custom page. So, not only do we have to pay $25 more, we also get full custom pricing...a total of $81 and $71 for the two I was eyeing.
It really is great gear, but going forward, I'll be hard pressed to purchase any more.

Ordered single and double layer Eldorado's with Becket suspension and am just DYING to get these babies out in the Portland sun!
Got mine in earlier today. My buddy ordered one as well, he said his was delivered too. Can't wait to try 'em.
Mine arrived last night! I hung it up, switched the bug net to left lay, and sprayed it with Permethren in advance of a scout campout I'll be chaperoning tonight. Looking forward to sleeping in it!
