I see the spreadsheet of volunteers to make meals. If I go, and it looks like I will, I will definitely sign up. Unfortunately there are some family medical issues around here that will make it hard to confirm until the week of.

At any rate, are there meals for which we are on our own? At our hang in SoCal we have 1 or 2 potlucks but everybody cooks for themselves besides that. It seems like with this one there isn't much solo cooking going on.

Should I only bring snacks and whatever meal stuff I end up bringing? I really like cooking outdoors and usually do a lot of it but I don't want to seem rude if the plan is to do group meals the whole time.
Preparing a meal is completely optional. We track it because in years past we had so many people bring food to share that there was a need to coordinate it. We always have some that prepare there own meals, so don't feel bad if you want to prepare your own.

My plan is to bring food for any meal that is not covered by someone in the spreadsheet, plus some snacks just in case a meal is light. I expect that we will see the spreadsheet fill in more over the next two weeks.

There are several people that have stated that they plan to bring a group meal to cook. It would be helpful if you would select a day and meal so that we can keep it coordinated.

    Thank you

I certainly plan to contribute. There are just some circumstances at home that may hinder me going at the last minute so I don't want to put something on the list and leave you guys high and dry if I can't make it.

I'll update it the week of.

I have google fi which is sprint and t-mobile. Sometimes I get reception at the campground, sometime not. Happy Jack is 15-20 minutes away and has a cell tower; not sure whose it ism but I often get reception there. I have gotten reception from the Rim road which is also 20 minutes away. Strawberry and Pine are about 30 minutes away and I can always get reception at Pine.

Absolutely. We can have up to 50 people before we have to bring in extra toilets. The site itself can easily hold over 100. I will add you to the spreadsheet.

Sure, not a problem. I was asking the "others" to start picking a day. Don't feel any pressure. We are easy going and it is all supposed to be fun.

Thanks for all of the info.

In planning ours it seems like every year there's an annoying guy that just can't help but ask a ton of questions.

I guess I'm your "that guy"

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town with no cell coverage.

I’m coming back from an overseas trip the day the hang starts. Not sure if I am going to be able to make the whole hang so I probably won’t bring my smoker up.
