    eyebrows,

    You come through with some valuable creations over the years. Thanks for another. Going to try this "NO LINE" setup.

    I think you all are talking about the set up Jeff Myers thought up - here is his video showing how to use;

    Jeff has come up with some good stuff.. but this setup has been around for longer than him...

    Grizz, Jaxx, BoneFire all had something similar, before Jeff, although he did add the prussik handle and button knots...
    Phantom Grappler has been doing single line suspensions for a very long time as well.

    Truth told.. doesn't really matter who comes up with a technique.. [/shrugs]

    I'm sure that's true, but Jeff's addition is a pretty significant improvement, IMHO. In this format, if I ever ditch my Warbonnet cinch buckles (not likely), this is probably what I will use. If I'm out and a buckle breaks, it's nice to know that I can fall back on the J-Bend, which I just learned.

    I absolutely agree and agree that credit should always go to the originators, if known, but I also appreciate and am thankful to, maybe as much as the originator(s), the person who shows it to me.

    If this is the same as the myers technique, which i have not seen, i salute his brilliance!! I did a little streamlining yesterday and had a small downpour to play in that ended up sprinkling all night. Took some pictures, will uplaod them in the next day or two. I definitely used the myers pull-loop toggle handle for adjustment on this re-iteration, but thats because i seent that and was mindblown that it works without hinderingthe knots gripping ability. And it seems to have no ill effect!!

    plenty of room to attach the hammock of course, did a little video, but can't post it here somehow. as i said, if this is jeff's way, so-be-it, someone enlighten me so i can call it like it is, my ego isn;t tied up in the creation of this so its not as though my feeling would be hurt.

    thanks to gilligansworld for the link to the myers vid, my setup is just a little bit different than his, klemheists instead of prussics and shock cord loops instead of amsteel tied onto the tarp. is what it is

    Jaxx Drinkwater did a very similar setup in 2016..

    Sqidmark and I did a tweak that made it modular and adjustable using tarp worms where you're using shock cord. Sqid proposed the double whoopie hook used either like a speed hook or like a beckett and later I added Jeff Myers' thumb loop to that Dynaglide prussick not pictured.

    I love how these things keep evolving and morphing. Can't remember why I stopped using this setup.. a few reasons I think. I didn't like the MyersTech dyneema strap pictured, I was using 12' tarps and hadn't yet started using the becket hitch (so simple). I'm going to revive this setup. Thanks for keeping the post updated..

    man!!! your setup seems more involved, though easily as modular and adjustible. i like the double hook used as a becket idea, that suits my J-Bend CL connection method idea very well!! i only see the wear any gizmo produce and thats what got me to round hooks. toggles would be easy on the materials too.
