Looking for a new Hammock symmetrical w/ bug net 11’

I’ve been researching a new hammock haven’t decided which one would suit me best. I’m a newbie to the hammock camping idea. Presently I like the Hammock gear netted hammock, and the Trail Lair. Either way I would want the 1.6 hex material. I assume they both would lay the same?

Others I have looked at are the raven, and the Chameleon. I’m not real found of the net setup on the raven though.

Is there really much difference in these Hammocks beside the color and accessories?
I’m all ears on what I should be looking at/ for. I really don’t want an asymmetrical since i seem to lay in different directions depending on the view or who I’m with and where they are hanging.

A hammock with a foot bag

Check out skyin hammock, which has a foot bag so you can lie flat on your hammock.

I’m currently in a Trail Lair with 1.1 sil. Dandy. I looked at HG’s netted. Seems nice also. I like that my hammock is under a pound in weight.

The Raven is awesome. Very modular, and the price is right. It also has a completely removable net- which was a priority for me when I purchased mine. That is one feature lacking on the Trail Lair and HG netted hammock.

Votes for the Dream Hammock Sparrow & Dutchware Chameleon here. Both are symmetrical hammock bodies with fully removable tops and are available with either asym or symmetrical bugnets and top covers. Only the Chameleon is available in Hexon 1.6, but you can get the Sparrow in Hyper D 1.6.

One nice thing about the Sparrow is that you can specify the width to whatever you like. Also, they are completely customizable - probably more so than any other hammock.

A major advantage the Chameleon has over the Dream Hammocks is that they are pretty much always in stock, so you could have it in a matter of days. Dream Hammocks are well worth the wait, though.
