side pull outs on chameleon with uq on?

my loco libre uq get's in the way of my side pullouts on my hammock, i like spreading the hammock, what do you do?
i will just not use them.

When I use them I hook them to my tarp tie outs. It doesn't seem to affect the effectiveness of the UQ.

i have a LL under quilt also. i started using my tie outs with my bug cover because i hate the mesh being so close to my head! i have no issues with the quilt using my tie outs.

Are you using the quilt hooks sewn into the side of the Chemeleon? I don’t have a LL, but I do use the hooks with a HG Incubator without any issues.

I'd like to see photos. How wide is your UQ? I have a Wooki, which reaches right up to the hammock tie outs on both sides. I'd rather use the tie outs, but there are times I don't bother myself with it. Usually I hook them onto a tarp stake. In the past I've connected one or both right to the Beastee-D on the tarp. Depending on the tarp and pitch, that can get the hammock tie outs more horizontal.

after another trial, i just loosened my uq, used the uq hooks on the chameleon, and it worked fine. i had the uq cinched up too tight.
