Looking forward to the video from Josh.
If you have even half as much fun as we did, you'll have a ball. And I'm drumming my fingers waiting on Josh's video as well.
    Cheers.

I really liked the narration style and the editing that gave an overall feel for the place. And what a beautiful place it is!

And the outtakes at the end with some slips/falls, and the friends/relatives who wonder what's going on inside your head that makes you want to do these things.

My parents, and yes, they just sort of shake their heads sometimes. Glad you enjoyed the video.
    Cheers.

Great video. Never through hiked it, but have done sections hikes 3 or 4 times. You have to give credit to the Foothill Trail Org, Boy Scouts, DNR and Duke power for keeping that trail in pretty good shape. The first time I hiked it I wondered how they got all of the heavy timbers and material back there for those bridges and stairs. Then I discovered all of the old logging roads through there that they use. Plan to retire up that way in a couple years and do some volunteer work on the trail. That suits me much better than a desk.

Absolutely agree that the trail maintainers do a superb job on that trail. The FHT Conservancy is very active and gets a shout out both for the physical work on the trail and their very informative website. We made use of a new bear cable at one site, and I believe they are working on new signs for all established sites as well.

Thanks. Those "outtakes" are actually a book trailer I have up on Amazon. I just dropped it in at the end of the video, even though it's tacky to advertise my own wares. My justification is that since it's at the end after the credits, it's easy to skip.

The weather was excellent, though warm. The only rain we had was two night time 10-minute very light passing showers, both after we were already in camp with hammocks set up. It never rained during the day when we hiked.
