    DIY Bugnet Pattern wanted

    I searched this forum and later this site but couldn't find anything other than fronkey's;
    I am looking at different bugnet designs hopefully not the same as or really close to a fronkey style. I am not a fan of the bottom entry nor really draw string that large (lots of cord when cinched up).

    Thanks in advance

    Have you looked at the zippered net kits from Ripstop by the Roll?

    No Sir. I would certainly entertain the idea but I have 24' of noseeum and it's like getting dressed to go to the dance and not dancing

    I bet sidneyhornblower was pointing out the instructions you find by following his link. It leads to this PDF document.

    Ahh forgive me - I had been on their site sometime back and it appears I have erroneously assumed access was only granted after purchase.

    The fronkey bottom entry design and the side zipper entry design are the only two non-attached designs that I have noticed that seemed most practical. But I've only been looking for about a year so my experience is limited. For what it is worth, I opted for the fronkey design, I like its simplicity.

    I like the simplicity but I don't like the rear entry. The ripstop by the roll one that was just posted is actually as simple IMO because you don't have to worry about threading shock cord through the lower channel. Perhaps a bit tedious sewing on a zipper but that's pretty simple.

    I made a sort of variant of the zippered net. I extended the zipper around the entire net so the opening could be positioned on either side. It also makes a bigger opening which makes attaching quilts inside much easier.

    Do you by chance have a diagram or pics?

    Same design just extended the zipper all the way around.

    Mine doesn't come in half (attached at the top), but maybe you could find/make the right length separating zipper.
