Hey all! Anthony from Rochester, NY. Just getting into hammock camping, going on my first trip this weekend in the Adirondacks. For now just using a budget setup (Oak Creek Outfitters - Lost Valley hammock bundle). I'm a long-time tent camper, so we will see how this new venture goes!

I might post a review of this hammock bundle, which I purchased on Amazon, as other beginners might like it as an entry level kit. For around $65, it includes the hammock with integral bug net, tree straps/carabiners, tarp and stakes.
