Thumbs up Nite Ize GearLine hanging organization...

I thought I'd share my experience with this hanging-related item. My mother got me this thing for Christmas last year after I spent a week sleeping in the hammock during a visit to my parents' place last summer. I thought it was a little silly, but I've been using it each time I go out. It's 4' of daisy chain webbing with a gear tie at either end and plastic dual carabiners hooked onto the loops (mfr link). It doesn't weigh much, but it obviously wouldn't make your hiking gear list. I've been taking it when car or canoe camping.

I've hung it along one end of my suspension and at HangCon, where I shared a tree, I strung it between my suspension and another hanger's. I would hang a half gallon of water from one of the larger biners, but nothing heavier than that.

I searched and found only one other reference to this item in the forums, here.

I have one of those too that I got for Christmas a couple years back. It's in my gear box but I really should use it. I considered hanging it in the back seat of my truck too to hang gear from. Pretty cool gadget to have when car or canoe camping or where you aren't going ultralite.

One of my favorite bits of gear in the back country. Really helps to keep things centralized and organized. I always know where I've put things!

Works really well with Atlas straps and you can pick the loops to use... Otherwise always at the head end of my hammock. Word to the wise - keep your cup and cutlery separated, I had to get up in the middle of the night to stop what sounded like a wind chime!
