I'm selling my beloved custom Simply Light Designs Trail Lair Hammock / Bivy as I continue to clean out my gear closet. I've used this on many trips but it is excellent shape. I chose the 2.4 fabric because I was interested in it's durability properties as well as firmness. This is the perfect fabric for a heavy weight BIG dude or for a regular weight person that realy likes a "Stiff as a Board" lay. The bug netting is always attached but can be unzipped and stowed in the end for an open hammock.

Some time ago myself and a few other hangers were working with Jared at SLD to develop his windshield cover. I designed and special requested this custom prototype to be built and as fas as I know it is the only one ever made.

1 lb 11 oz or 27 oz with shield not installed
1 lb 15 oz or 31 oz with sheild installed

- Knees and Shoulders D-Ring tie outs
- Under quilt hooks
- Single layer 2.4 Hexon dark olive
- Fixed Amsteel Ridgeline
- 11 foot by about 61" hammock with No-See-Um (.9 oz) bug netting
- Custome D-Ring sewn in bug netting allow for ground bivy
- #5 YKK Two Sided zippers(Retractable w/ Extra zipper pulls)
- Removable Continuous Loops
- Double Ended Stuff Sack
- Custom Fully Removable Wind Shield Argon 90 - Charcoal Grey
(Wind Shield can be zippered on inside or can be clipped on outside)
