All right friends, it is time for the second annual boat in hang. We will have the same site as last year (Pine Beach) as well as a second site (Little Bay). These sites are connected via water as well as trail. Thommy Thompson State park is situated in beautiful north central Wisconsin on the Peshtigo Flowage. The park is home to many trails and a great fishing habitat. A state park pass will be needed for parking which is allowed at the boat landing regardless of wether you have your own boat or not. Are there plenty of trees for hanging at these camp sites, or is a tensa stand somewhat useful to have?

There is no need for a stand unless you want to hang on a rock by the side of the water.... plenty of great hanging trees are available.
