I'm new here. Never hammock-camped before, but am gearing up to try it. I have lots of questions. This forum seems like the place for endless opinions. Should be a good fit.

Hi welcome to hammocking! I'm just north of you in Bucks county, plenty of great places to hang in our area.

@DGrav Happy to hear recs! I've been to Worlds End, a couple places in Hudson Valley in NY, and a few other day trips around PA state parks. Usually avoid summertime due to bugs, though.
The Pinchot Trail is a great option for a weekend. Its about a two hour drive from Philly. 20 mile loop with a road bisecting near the middle so you can cut it in half and road walk back to your car.
Tons of great options along the AT, I'm a big fan of the Maryland section.

Welcome from Delaware... This forum is definitely a good place for info and help.
If you’re able, think about attending the Spring MAHHA hang in early May at Pine Grove Furnace State Park...Lots of great people and food- and a good way to check out different kinds of gear and get advice and help....
Welcome from South Jersey as well. Keep your eyes on the Campouts, Hangouts and Trips tab. There are several group events over here in the Pine Barrens where you can meet more local people and see all sorts of gear. See you in the woods.
Welcome from the Jersey Shore.

Welcome xnktx. Glad you showed up. You're right about the endless options.
Oh, and perhaps you should buy a vowel; I can't pronounce your forum name.
Cheers.
