    WI>4th Annual SprinterGiving Hang

Another great weekend in the southern kettle moraine state forest. This weekend lived up to it's name, as usual. A chilly, windy Thursday night with a little rain and freezing rain eventually turned into a beautiful Friday and Saturday, with just enough wind to keep us on our toes

We cooked, we ate, then we ate some more. Way too much food thanks to all the generous folks who were more than willing to share their culinary talents. Saturday's "Thanksgiving" dinner came together with help from everybody, a huge thank you to markglist and Gallo for frying up the turkeys and monitoring the dutch oven as they always do

There was a little surprise this year thanks to the generosity of some of our cottage vendors. Thank you Simply Light Designs, Warbonnet, Hammock Gear, and Ripstop by the Roll!!

If you have pictures, please post them here. I, of course, didn't take many....

It was a furry friends' weekend retreat. Missing pictures of Mocha and Greta.

Thank you vendors for supporting our activities.
Great time, great folks, great food, great weather.
Thank you Goobie for hosting, and all the other little things that make hammock hanging a neat opportunity for us.

Yup, watching the drawing of names out of a hat and hearing the cheers for the winners was great. Made for a fun buzz around the campfire and a nice touch on the best evening of an all-around great weekend. Kudos to Goobie and the vendors for their collaboration to add spice to an already fantastic event.

It was nice to see some of you on my short visit on Saturday. Many thanks to those who welcomed my wife and friends on our tour. Perhaps they will join us at a future hang because of your friendliness.

Big thank you to Goobie for organizing and for helping me set up my hammock for the first time. Thank you to all your help and advice.

A great weekend with fun people, great weather, beautiful location, delicious food (thank you to all who prepped, cooked, cleaned...)!

I had to sleep with a bedroom window open last night (36 degrees), missed the fresh air.

Thanks to Goobie and everyone else who helped put this hang on. Your northern hospitality was greatly appreciated. It was good to meet new faces and reconnect with others.

    Best feast I've experienced!

Thanks Goobie for all of the legwork. Thanks to everyone for making this a fun outing. Thanks vendors for the pleasant surprise. Thanks for letting me set up down the hill.

Moka was too tired to eat when we got home.
