    Lightbulb DIY Wooden Hammock Stand

    Hi guys, Just thought i would share this hammock stand i just finished building. Its made from 45mm x 120mm treated wood , very sturdy.

    I've got on much like it in my basement. If you added a couple ribs and started bending wood and caulking the sides would the neighbours think, looks like were building an ark? Old school survivalist eh. Nice stone spot your at, visit in 2017 good time....cheers

    What height did you build it to? Also what length hammock can it hang comfortably? Thinking of building one this summer

    Well im around 330 pounds and it holds me fine, ive got an 11 footer with room to spare

    Nice built, I would use shorter bolt at the base, those 4 stick out give me uneasy feel.
