You could, but there's no real need to...most of the others bridge makers cut theirs deeper/ lower centre of gravity/ more stable. But if your curiosity gets the better you, have a play.

The top two suspenders take the weight while the bottom two provide tension, stability & shape. You can get away with a single bottom suspender if you need to.
