    Linville Gorge 1st Video

    https://youtu.be/QHx5Fm_8IgE

Heres a beginners attempt at a video of my latest Linville Gorge trip if anyone is interested. It’s not much, it’s actually pretty bad, and definitely does not do the gorge justice, but hey, gotta start somewhere.

I used iMovie on my phone, does anyone have better recommendations? My laptop is windows.

    Linville Gorge 1st Video

Nice job on the video. You gotta start somewhere. The good news is the more you do it the easier it becomes.
I like LumaFusion - it’s an app on iPhone. I’d say it is the best for editing videos on your iPhone but I haven’t compared it to much. It has all the bells and whistles of a PC app.
If you try a PC app, download it first and try before you buy. Sometimes rendering the video takes forever depending on how old of laptop it is.

We were camped up on the rim and heard those same 3 am showers roll thru. Sounded nice on the tarp.

If you keep your phone sideways when you film you won't get the big black bars on the side.
Takes some practice filming. Just go on more trips and do more filming. It is an acquired skill.
Lucky you got some Gorge time for sure.

I’ll definitely check that app out. Thanks for the recommendation.
I think I saw all you guys. I wanted to stop and introduce myself to some gorge rats but we didn’t make it to pinchin until after 7:00 Friday evening, had to get going. Those showers, rapids, and peep frogs were amazing for us too, got a little windy later on.
