    Costco Quilt Discontinued? Seeking alternative.

Decided to finally set out and get a Costco quilt to make my first topquilt...Only to have three stores say there's no item number for it, it's off the website, and no one has seen one since last summer. Anyone know of any similar quilts that could be modded in the same fashion?

The CDTs are seasonal items at Costco stores and on-line. You should see them showing up in the fall again. I've observed that cycle for at least the last three years. I've never seen them in my stores in the spring and summer. I always stock up on few when they have them available for future projects.

I found similar products at Wayfair, Amazon, and BB&B. Keep in mind that some of these are 50x70 while CostCo's are 60x70

If weight is no factor, try this or this

And some seem to have plenty of feathers in place of some of the down.

I saw them for a long time as they went on sale and then off. I finally decided I wanted one as it went from $17 back to regular price of $23. Bought it anyway, only to have them go on sale for $12 the following week...so I bought 2 more because I started seeing people using them to make UQs and such. I've come to love them as my regular blanket at home and in camp and hope they come back so I can get a couple more.

The CDTs can be found multiple places online by searching Double Black Diamond Down Packable Throw. Amazon in particular has them as well. Costco is popular simply because they have them at the lowest cost, but the throw itself is available several places.

Costco in my region has brought in a quilts. Different brand but they look quite similar. I didn't look too closely because I stocked up on quilts last year...

They usually show up in my local costco (Apex NC) as early as late August but sometimes early October. 2-3 very large boxes full in one of the side isles.
