    Venting a lynx?

Ok, so on my gathered end hammock I vent the uq by loosening the suspension. How do you vent a lynx on a ridge runner?

Haven't found a need to vent my Lynx, but you could easily add string or something to the small carabiner attachments (at either or both ends/sides), to create space between the UQ and the RR.

Put a water bottle or shoe/boot in it ti pull it away some and create a gap.

Thanks Shug. But I think like the Wookie there is not much play to do that. I will look into adding some bungee loops at the carabiners.

I just unclip one of the corners and let it hang.

Thanks. You can not slide the lynx to the side. I added two adjustable loops at the head end of the rr where the lynx clips in. To vent I will clip the lynx to the loops and adjust their length as needed, closed is almost the same as a normal lynx attacment, open gives me about thre inches of play at the head,

Or just release one corner of the Lynx at head end. That will cause a gap thus a vent.
    Either way, carry forth.

I carry a couple Loops of cord with a cord lock on them to place in between the lynx corner webbing loops and the mini carabiners on the foot end. The cord locks allow me to adjust the tension which varies the amount of "sag" or venting.

Good information and follow up. I'm a new hammocker with a ridgerunner and full length lynx myself.. though a very cold sleeper, so probably won't need to vent.. even in summer!

How do you like your winterdream 13? works well with the RR?
