    Question Another thought

So if i were to make the ridgeline on my expedition removable, with say a pair of mini biners. could i remove it and turn the hammock upside down for use without the bug net? please feel free to direct me to any thread already on the subject.

I assume you're talking about an HH. I mentioned this some time ago in another thread. You probably can turn it upside down but notice that the bug net is not nearly as wide as the material of the hammock. So, if you turn it upside down some of the hammock material will have to go under the hammock to keep from tearing the netting. This means that the hammock will not be nearly as wide as before and you may not be able to get fully on the diagonal.

You will need something much stronger than the typical mini biner, there is a lot of tension on the ridgeline.
I THOUGHT GETTING OLDER WOULD TAKE MUCH LONGER.

If you let the bug net lay in the bottom of the hammock, would a ccf pad fit on top of it?
