That's actually my default setup. There's plenty of room as long as you're not pitching the tarp down real tight, and even then you can easily pull out the sides or use a pole mod if you wanted to pitch it tighter but still have clearance for the spreader bars. I honestly can't see myself needing a bigger tarp (although I don't camp in negative temperatures like some of you yahoos do.
