Here's my winter sock I made this year which worked well. I got the pattern from the forum here. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...1&share_type=t
In winter, I put away my HG standard Cuben tarp w/doors and switch to a wide silpoly tarp made from 72" wide panels for wind protection. It was made by @Countrybois

Got to use my HG Palace a couple of times this winter. Overall, it was quite mild this winter.

I only got out twice due to all kinds of mess at home. Still, it was nice to test my new Simply Light Designs Winter Haven tarp.

However, the massive amount of condensation is making me reconsider. I may go back to my Superfly tarp for more air flow (colder, but more comfortable in general without all the dampness after being closed in). I left doors open and it was still too much. I think having that larger gap open at the ground makes the difference.

Still very comfortable with my HG 0° quilt set down to -16°F.

Here's mine... Warbonnet XLC, 0* Wookie, Wilderness Logics 20* TQ, inside the UQ protector and top cover. If they're calling for snow, I put up the Superfly.

My setup for a quick overnight recently. SLD Winter Haven tarp, SLD hammock, Hammockgear 0°F Incubator with 2QZQ UQP, and a Katabatic Flex 15° topquilt. Got down to 8°F overnight, stayed toasty all night.
