Question SLD Hammocks compatibility with WB Wookie UQ

Looking at the Voyageur hammock, I noticed a photo that looks like a Wooki underquilt.

I already have a Wooki and a Wooki XLC and I'm looking to get some SLD hammocks. Does anyone know if any SLD hammocks are compatible with the Wooki? Was any mods needed like adding some length to the suspension etc?

How well did it work? Just as good as on a WB Blackbird?

Pretty sure that's a wookie, the Trail Winder uses Climashield Apex and not baffles.

SLD Hammocks compatibility with WB Wookie UQ

My logical brain wants to say that the only things that matter are the ridgeline length and hammock length. And I believe the Warbonnet hammocks are 11’ long minus the hem for the end channels and the ridgelines are 112”. So the best thing to do would be to ask Jared to make one with those specs if you are still in the ordering stages.

Here’s a screenshot I saved because I am considering doing exactly this:

I've seen several people use Wookies on different hammocks. Dream Hammocks, Simply Light Designs, Dutchware, and Warbonnet to be specific. Depending on the hammocks, certain modification had to be made (extra length of shock cord, shock cord used to girth hitch and make it shorter, etc), but everyone had decent success. Best thing about the wookie/trail winder is you don't have to mess with cords running along each side of you!

Hey bigbenny! Yes this is a 40* Wooki! I changed out the suspension with my Wooki, by replacing the rubber band at the foot end with non stretch cord.
The head end l swapped out the cord for shock cord and used in with a line lock for necessary adjusting with the amount tension required.
I found l can keep the foot end of the Wooki in a permanent position, so l can swap from hammock too hammock with the head end adjustable to the desired tension! IMG_3360.JPG I have also made this mod with IMG_3361.JPGthe trail winder.

Here is Jared's offering of a synthetic asym UQ if that ever interest you.
