    Tactical Toggle?

I noticed another (yes another) new offering at Dutchwaregear. The Tactical Toggle. It looks like a really rugged toggle. Does it have any special function or is it just a better toggle for DIY stuff? Will we see it on any future Dutch gear?

I'm thinking a cleat for securing my canoe to my backpack on shore so it (the canoe) doesn't float away.

Not a new item, but new at Dutchware.

Some like to use them in tarp ridgeline setups, though it's not a method I prefer.

UGQ uses them to connect to their topquilts in their pad attachment cords.

MIL-spec Monkey carries them, too. They're listed there as an item to use on zipper pulls.

Oh, I like this. But it seems like it would wear your ridgeline prematurely, wouldn't it? Not in the same place every time, of course... But it seems like it causes a lot of rope-on-rope friction.

Yes, but they're not available for shipping to California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia.

I've used those on RL's in the manner jeff myers shows in the above video. Works well enough.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
